Melinda B. Smith received a B.M. in music education from Furman University
and is currently a music teacher at Hilton Head Elementary School teaching
general music and chorus. She has also been involved with leading choir
at a local church. In 1998, Mrs. Smith was named Teacher of the Year for
Hilton Head Elementary.
